Born November 15, 1980, Elena is an award-winning photojournalist and blogger from Bishkek. She is formerly an editor for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting’s Central Asia bureau, and regularly contributes photography to the Associated Press, Lenta.ru, and EurasiaNet.
