It's interesting that as well as everything else in our country the amendments came out of nowwhere and nobody even anticipated it in such form forget about discussing them. We all know who rules and who is the master, the only thing left for us is to pray that he still have some conciousness left or at least common sense. He lives in different world. Everyone is dreaming about something, well not everyone's dreams are coming true, his are, and we are all just witnesses. We need a new lider. Hope we don't have to have him until he dies. COuple of month ago in an interview to a Spanish newspaper he said that he is going to accomplish his mission of bringing democracy to his people and step down in 2012 so that his people elect their lider at free and democratic election. He didn't mention the amendments. He never mentions anything to us, why bother, which is on the brink of lying blatantly or being absolute patriarch, which is worse? In 1993 when the Parleament was shut down, nobody discussed either. Why don't we shut down the parleament again, poor guys have nothing to do but to speak on their mobile phones anyway and ban national flag and himn from use by common people.

Yes, many of them qualify. Maybe it is the way we choose them? Or maybe they just ask to be written about. I look forward to reading your entry on April 1, 2008!

Several weeks ago I had an inspiration to write a neweurasia entry about all the stories on the site over the past year that *should* have been April Fool's stories, but sadly weren't. Unfortunately I thought of it too late to follow through. Now this entry will go into my list of stories for a "Should Have Been April Fool's Day News" entry for 1 April 2008.
