Acceptance of works for the Youth Award named after Chingiz Aitmatov was announced

Ministry of Labor, Youth and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic announces acceptance of documents for receiving the State Youth Award named after Chingiz Aimatov for 2011-2012.

Main purpose of the Award is to attract the best creative forces of the Republic to creation of works, to educate youth in the spirit of patriotism, to preserve moral and cultural values, to assert the principle of humanism, spiritual and physical education of the young generation.

Works and materials nominated for the Award should be significant on the artistic skills level, to reveal rich spiritual world of young men and women, and to call for selfless serving for the people of Kyrgyzstan.

Award is organized in 11 categories. Laureates will receive a diploma, a special award and a cash prize of 40,000 soms.

The State Youth Award named Ch. T. Aitmatov is given since 2009 for achievements in culture and sport, for protection the interests of children and youth, as well as for outstanding achievements in other areas. Prize awarding is making by the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic Government.
