On February 7th and 8th 2014 the photo exhibition “Central Asian Youth: Behind the Camera’s Lens” will be held in the Turkish Cultural Center in New York (USA), where the works of Kyrgyz citizens will be presented. The event is organized by the Kyrgyz Club Public Organization.

The exhibition will feature the works of young photographers from Central Asia. They will show in their photos an everyday life in the region, culture and the unique way of the Central Asian people’s life. In these works they will also reflect their enormous creative potential.

The photographers took part in the seminar “Youth of the 21st Century: Debating and Producing Media products”, which was held in Issyk-Kul province in the summer of 2013. Organizers of this seminar are Youth Education Fund, International Educational Association of Debates in the region, and The Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan.

There is a little information about the photo exhibition yet, except the thing that if you miraculously find yourself these days in New York City and want to visit it, you will have a chance to taste national dishes and drinks.
