Uzbek children-musicians helps their peers. Each month, on the 15th day, they play a charity concert, which named “Children for Children”. All musicians, who take part in these concerts are the students of the Republican Specialized Musical Academic Lyceum named after Uspenskiy.

The money that they collects from these concerts go to the purchase of medicines for patients children’s department Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. The concerts are held by the Fund Forum, headed by Gulnara Karimova.

Concerts “Children for Children” are held with the initiative of the students: they choose musical numbers, make rehearsals, organize the distribution of tickets, shoot and edit videos for concerts. Also here involved their parents and, of course, the teachers of the Lyceum.

Igor Ten, one of the musicians:

It is great that we can support sick children with our creativity, we can raise money for their treatment. Our help, perhaps insignificant, but thanks to these concerts, we can acquire the necessary vaccines at least for a few children, and this is, I think, very well. We have big plans for the next concert, and I hope we will be able to realize our plans. Many thanks to the Fund Forum for the support.

The first spring concert “Children for Children” was held on March 15. Here is photo report, provided by the Fund Forum:
