Eminent women of Kyrgyzstan

Journalist and writer Kulbubu Bekturganova released another book of the series about the eminent women of Kyrgyzstan.

The book is the fifth volume of the series “Daughters of the Kyrgyz land” written by the Bishkek-based journalist and writer, candidate of historical sciences Kulbubu Bekturganova.

Book series “Daughters of the Kyrgyz land” talks about the high importance and role of women in society. Sincere and truthful stories about time, problems of women and younger generation, and the place of the beautiful half of humanity in socio-economic development of the country reveal a richness of inner world and high moral qualities of the Kyrgyz women.

The new edition includes essays and character sketches dedicated to the state and public figures-women, leaders of the economic sphere, academic figures, culture and art leaders.

Among the heroines of the book there are an outstanding Bishkek scientist-florist, Doctor of Biology Ennafa Nikitina, secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR and the Secretary of the Council of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan Jamal Abdraeva, the first chairman of the Kyrgyz tv-radio committee Rabiya Menseitova, the first chairman of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic Rose Uchkempirova, the current director of the National Library Jyldyz Bakashova, and many others.
