Global Village in Bishkek

On February 16, an International Festival of cultures Global Village, organized by the AIESEC Youth Organization, was held in the shopping center “Bishkek Park”.

The purpose of the event is to show a rich variety of cultures in the world, to develop mutual understanding and tolerance in society, and spread the idea of ​​unity among the peoples.

Festival brought together young people from China, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Estonia, Indonesia, Germany, Australia, and other countries.

Visitors of the event were able to taste a variety of national dishes, see unusual souvenirs, postcards, learn about different countries, ask questions, watch performances of delegations and participate in contests.

Student from Germany, Christian Buskyul, shared his impressions about Kyrgyzstan:

“I’m only a week in Bishkek, but from the first day I fell in love with your city. People here are very hospitable and kind. And I was pleasantly surprised that many Bishkek residents understand the German language and can communicate in German,” – Christian said.
