Translation of ankona’s post (RUS)

There are lots of educational resources online. I’m not just talking about lectures, which I try to post links to, but also more “micro” tools. If you’re interested, I will continue to share the resources I’ve been using myself, like Gramota.ru. In the era of computers and spell-checkers, we don’t think much about our grammar and thus often find ourselves in awkward situations. The Russian language, like everything, can be forgotten, so it is useful to refresh one’s memory every once in a while.

On gramota.ru, I really like the interactive dictation feature. If you frequently write dictations, go over your mistakes and look up rules, with time you will notice yourself making fewer errors :) A long time ago, I read about an English writer who was famous for his large vocabulary and arsenal of literary devices. It turned out he practiced by rewriting famous novels :) It’s not quite a dictation, but still.

The textbook section is also great. It has two parts: spelling and punctuation.
