Lezghinka is a dance that can be rightly considered as the hallmark of each Caucasian. Dance that expresses the soul of the highlanders. It was danced in the mountainous Caucasus since ancient times. And today, no wedding is complete without lezghinka – everyone dances it, regardless of nationality, gender and abilities.

The dance is the most spectacular when it is performed in traditional costumes and accompanied by a musical ensemble. Dynamic movements and fast pace do not allow the viewer to distract, as well as a dancer to relax until the last chord.

“Lezghinka unites people. This is already an international dance. We plan to arrange a tour of the dance groups throughout Kyrgyzstan, and show their skills under the slogan “Unity and friendship of peoples”", – one of the jury members, Tursunbay Bakir Uulu, said.
