Very good reporting, but what methods can be brought around in Uzbekistan to educate the Roma on their history, and why can't OSCE which has offices there, do something for their literacy?

The Uzbek government is disfunctional, so how can this minority be brought to have a stronger identification? Even the Uzbeks are confused about their own identity, after so many years of Soviety domination.

Ben,
Thanks for shedding light on the predicament of Roma people in Samarkand. Very informative piece of journalism and I liked the investigative method in the piece.
