On September 22 the II Auto-Mega Festival took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Festival included competitions in carting and auto sound, tuning exhibition, exhibition of vintage cars, and lots of other activities.
II Auto-Mega Festival was timed to the celebration of the 135th anniversary of Bishkek city. According to the press office of the Mayor of Bishkek, the Festival was held for residents and visitors of the city in order to support local car enthusiasts, to promote a motorsport, and to develop Tuning projects and Auto and Moto clubs. Another equally important goal of the auto event is the promotion of healthy lifestyle.
Show presented at the Old Square of Bishkek was truly spectacular. Program of the Festival included competitions of the youngest racers in carting, sport cars performance, and exhibition of vintage cars. Also the audience enjoyed the beauty of tuning and unusual auto sound.
Last time such event was held in Kyrgyzstan 7 years ago. According to the Mayor of the capital, Isa Omurkulov, Auto-Mega Festival is one more “gift” to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan to the Day of Bishkek city.
“This is a festival, talking about which will be for a long time. The event carries drive, power, speed and freedom – all the things that an automobile represents”, – Isa Omurkulov said.
