Concert of the Sweden music band VED took place in Dushanbe Gurminj museum of musical instruments on May 17th 2014. The concert was organized in the framework of the international action Museum Night and the concert free entrance event.

VED came to Dushanbe to participate in the International Dushanbe Ethno – Jazz Festival but also found time to give concert in Gurminj museum.

VED started as a solo-project by Mattias Nihlén (Malmö, Sweden) taking inspiration from film music, progressive rock, early electronic music and folk music. From a more drone-based ambient, the music has developed into a rhythmic machinery with elements of horror movie soundtracks, surf-rock and found cassettes. VED is now also a fully developed live band delivering hypnotic instrumental rock music.
