turkmenbashi_braA blogger friend of mine asked me to write my opinion about a Woman President for our country. To tell you the truth, when it comes to the actual doing of politics, gender rarely matters, women can be as strong/harsh as men. But since we are a patriarchal Central Asian country, one’s gender may become an issue.

Personally, I think that for anyone to be actually be a good President for our country, they have to be very educated academically and very experienced in life and very well traveled. When one doesn’t possess any knowledge about other countries and cultures, that person won’t have any clear judgment when dealing with other countries.

Of course, some political decisions may be affected by gender. Let’s face it, women and men are different in logical thinking and reasoning. Nature made us so different from each other. Women are more emotional and men are more logical. There are times when you can find some hybrid humans out there who possess both of those values, but it’s very rare.

I would conclude gender doesn’t usually determine our goodness or badness. Instead, it’s us who can decide about what kind of person we want to be. Contrary to what some people may think, a woman can make as evil or as good a President as a man. She just needs to have some superb qualities that one needs to be a good President. Similar to what I’ve mentioned above, if a woman has broad knowledge about the world, people’s needs, ethics, moral values, family values and love for the humanity, I’m sure she’ll make a hell of a President.
