Expectations that the second day would start later then scheduled, due to the party BarCampers had last night, were correct and the day started a bit late. Though, despite the long night, participants still seem full of energy and stamina, as they keep attacking speakers with tons of different questions.

At the moment, Charles McCathieNevile from Opera, one of the main sponsors of BarCamp Kyrgyzstan 2009, is giving a speach about his company and why it keeps funding BarCamps in Central Asia (already 3 events this year).

Most participants are anticipating the speech of Ulan Melisbek, a director of Kyrgyz Patent, state organization that is trying to gain full control over the .kg domain zone. Ulan Melisbek explains that Kyrgyz Patent represents interests of Kyrgyz nation and therefore is the best institution to control .kg zone. At the moment .kg zone is controlled by a private organization “AsiaInfo“.
