Like in any Eastern city, you could haggle here. I bought some dolls to take home so they would remind me of my trip. Everything seemed to catch the eye – beautiful dolls of people in traditional dress, bags, backpacks, leather wallets, teapot covers, all hand-made.

The stands were covered with piles of souvenirs, which were much cheaper than in any local shopping center or super market. Plus, the assortment of goods was, for the most part, unique. For example, I have never seen such bright, embroidered tapestries or clay penny whistles anywhere in the center.
