It is the second day since the clashes of ethnic nature between Uzbek and Kyrgyz in Osh city of southern Kyrgyzstan sparked.  Ministry of Health update by 20:58 of June 12, 2010 reads that there are “945 injured, out of which 69 – dead, 532 were hospitalized and 444 received ambulatory medical assistance”. Unofficial information indicates that number of victims significantly exceed given numbers.  Visual information from Osh is very scarce at this point.  Here are some photos taken from various web sources.

Labeling a property with ethnic origin of an owner has become a means of protection as well as provocation.
