Aid distribution may be making the conflict worse

neweurasia‘s partner site Transitions Online and EurasiaNet are both running an analysis by Alisher Khamidov, a journalist in Osh, on the patterns of aid distribution in Osh and Jalalabad and how these may actually be worsening the conflict.  Our Bakhrom, who’s in Avaran, believes this the case; I myself have been hearing it a lot from observers in Bishkek and beyond; and the Twittersphere is also buzzing about it.
