Jim1313, IMO well-meant but over-optimistic. First, despite all diplo talk, Russia and the US can't care less about Kyr. Second, Kyr is already a basket case country in the sense that it is little else than an international aid colony and a source of cheap labour and traffic flesh. Painful.

Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful mountain country with special country charm and natural beauty. It would be a shame to lose the prosperity offered by great lakes, natural beauty ans potential ski resorts to any form of terrorism. I have never seem a country prosper through terrorism or an internal war. The United States and Russia are starting to work on alliances for economic gain for their people. Kyrgyzstan's alliance with these two powers for economic gains can make Kyrgyzstan a new Switzerland. It is a matter of how hard you work for the greater good and keeping away from corruption. Mexico has all the greatest assets in the world and is moving backwards at the speed of light because of crime ,terror and corruption. Try to pick leaders that will have some concept of trying to work for the greqater good. Do not pay attention to what they say, judge them by their actions. Jim 1313
