Youth campaign “Let’s plant Peace in Osh!” has started in Osh, Kyrgyzstan on 10 of July. 100 of multiethnic youth participated voluntarily at the campaign. 82 of volunteers are from Osh and 18 from Bishkek.

The grand opening was commenced with the national anthem of KR at 10 AM on Alymbek Datka alley. The hosts of the campaign in the person of Ms. Aijan Toktosheva – The Chief of PU “Youth of Osh” saluted all volunteers. Also one of the partner organizations PU “Youth Integration Service” in the person of Mr. Boris Sanamyantc was proud to welcome all volunteers.

After all the whole team of volunteers was divided into 5 groups and set off for cleaning works on territories such as: 1 group on “Ubileinaya” alley, 2 group on Osh national Drama theater, 3 group on “Altyn Uya” alley, 4 group on public garden in “Ugo-Vostok” district and 5 group prepared a draft of graffiti painting on “Bolshaya rybka” pool.

Volunteers cleaned the territories from trashes and weeds, also they were digging the soil, thus preparing it for planting the flowers during next days. On “Ubileinaya” alley there was cultivated a piece of soil in the form of silhouette of a Dove of Peace. There will be planted flowers during next days of campaign. Finishing the earthwork all volunteers came back to the “Alymbek Datka” alley in order to get their cash benefits and launch. After all the hosts of the campaign thanked kindly volunteers and made briefing about the next day.

Consequently the first day of the campaign “Let’s plant PEACE in Osh!” started successfully. The next day of the campaign is 11 of July. During this day the cleaning and preparing works are planned to continue. So keep an eye on further news about “Let’s plant PEACE in Osh!” campaign.
